YWAM ship update: Day 1

After 30 hours of straight travel, including four flights, three layovers, getting through customs, and a bus ride, I finally made it to the YWAM ship docked just outside of Popendetta. The country is incredible! There is rich vegetation that is thicker and greener than any land I’ve ever seen. The water is a pure blue. I could see scattered reefs on the flight in which broke up the vast blue with bursts of teal and aqua colors. The people here are wonderful, very friendly. On the ship you can hear accents from Australia, England, and America. It’s fun to hear about were people have come from and how they got here because no two stories are the same. There are a few things that everyone does have in common, though. We all love Christ and we all have a passion for helping others through healthcare. Pray that God would do big things on this outreach!
